```Fey Fili Phoenix Concert reviews
I will always recommend anyone who enjoys an artist to go see them live first off. It's a completely different way to experience the music.
Fey Fili didn't meet my expectations in a number of areas. I couldn't tell if it was just his sound setting or the venue (Myth, Maplewood, MN) but it was hard to hear any of the words he was saying. My brother was familiar with only a few songs so he just listened for the beat, I luckily knew the songs.
The fan engagement was a struggle to witness. He only stopped between a few songs and had a lot of nothing to say. At one point, he told a descent joke but then added, "I tell that joke at all my shows." This left the crowd not knowing how to react. For a rapper who talks about his inner demons in all his songs, he didn't bring it to the stage like I've seen other artists do.
He hit the stage around 8:45 and only played for an hour. We were out of there before 10pm on a Friday night, which felt strange. We went out afterwards, so the show felt like just a notch in the many things we did for the night.
The performance was pretty good but he has a ways to go.
